I placed an order for a 4 sets of Dr.Pulley sliders from Scooterworks.Com on May 18th. I used standard UPS Ground shipping for under $10 and received them today, May 20th! They were packed well and they also included a keychain, box of Red Hot candies (?), and a catalog. Their price on 16x13 sliders was about as low as I could find in the US. I would not hesitate to do business with these folks again. www.scooterworks.com/

The only good thing about the catalog is that it does have some scooter related patches. Pretty much everything else is Vespa though. We gotta look around for engine diagrams... they can order a free catalog and there are all sorts of parts diagrams in there.
$24.99 per set

I could never understand why they put the Red Hots in every box. We have an entire bowl of them at the shop!

lol I figured maybe it was some obscure Vespa culture thing that I didn't know about? EDIT : Found this at modernbuddy.com... "The Ferrara Pan candy company that makes Red Hots and Lemonheads is in Chicago and has a history of doing cool stuff with Genuine.
The limited edition Atomic Fireball Stellas were a cross-promotion with Ferrara Pan. Probably a good thing they didn't do a Boston Baked Beans scoot."

Now I would like a garnet colored Boston Baked Beans scooter. I also prefer them to Red Hots.

I won a $25 gift certificate at TnG from scooterworks and tried to use it the following Tuesday just to find out it had already been used. After talking to them for about 5 minutes they asked for my name and number so customer service could look into it and call me back. Aaron from customer service called me today to let me know that even though someone had used my certificate number very first thing monday morning they were gonna allow me to use it as well and take up the discrepency with the person the certificate was issued to or by. Long story shortened a little, basically I could've been SOL but they made it right by me and thats pretty standupish IMO. It is a shame that most of there products are Vespa and Piaggio stuff.

Thats strange because those gift certs were under wraps until we handed them out and in my possession the whole time. Nobody could have gotten to that number before we handed it out. Soooo either Scooterworks screwed up or somebody lifted your gift code and used it before you had a chance. My money is on a screw up.

Aaron said it could have been an internal error but all that matters to me was that they made it right by me. 2 thumbs up for scooterworks by making it right by me. :thumb: :thumb:

I like the candy touch. That makes the shipment fun. Maybe they put different candies in every box so you never know what you're gonna get. :spin:
