I bought it brand new a few months back. I immediately put an 80cc bbk, Cdi and coil pack on it. I daily drive it so progress is slow. My goals for the future are to redo the cvt(belts, variator, sliders) I also have been looking for an exhaust, but can't decide what to go with. She has about 940kms/584miles. Bbk is holdin up well. The oil and gear oil has been changed multiple times she runs smooth. Just want some more power for the atl traffic

Trying to decide if I want to paint it matte black, red rims and red pin stripe or olive drab with black or bbs gold rims. I want to convert the taillight and turn signals to led, but not sure which to get and what it entails. And I want a different headlight but can't decide on hid or what. Any input would be great

I noticed my scoot is making a weird sound accelerating between 38-40, I can't tell if its valve lash or maybe not shifting up high enough. Any input?

The blacked out housings look cool when the lights are off, but doesn't it cut back on the light output a lot? Only in that speed range? Doesn't matter what throttle position? Any other symptoms? If you feel any vibration with it, it could be a wheel/tire balance issue. Pretty common since these aren't balanced.

This forum has been very helpful, I've been lurking for awhile I was worried it would but there really wasn't much change in them at all. I'm also planning on adding an auxiliary brake light. And it's just a weird rattle sound when the throttle is fully engaged between those speed. It doesn't do it once its past 42 usually.

I used premium at first 150 miles but it just didn't run as well as using premium for some reason. I've gotten better mileage and higher top speed of of regular

Mine will knock randomly, not on any sort of regular basis, with premium and the spark plug verifies that there has been detonation. That may be what you're hearing. See any "peppering" on the spark plug? It looks like what it sounds like, little dark specks on the insulator.

On another note I want to add some type of pegs or foot rests to the rear I'm 6'5" just want my feet sitting a little lower. Any ideas of how to cheaply do it? I thought of getting old bmx pegs and making a bracket but I don't want it to look bad. I also am about to order my bar end mirrors just trying to decide between 2 I'm looking at

If you can weld, you can prob pick up steel tubing or black steel plumbing pipe and weld it to the frame wherever it works for your comfort then cut holes to clear them in the fairings. Might make fairing removal and install a pain, depending on the spot. That's what I did on one of mine, but I use no fairings. It does make a big difference when you drop the floor a little.

Unfortunately I don't have a welder here, and only some experience. That's why I was trying to think of other ways to mount them. I miss having a garage and all my tools, I've only been been in GA a year, I'm working on bringing my tool collection back

You can get clamp on, screw on, and bracketed foot pegs. Some fold, some are stationary. Might wanna look around at whats out there and then spend a few minutes looking over the scoot to see where which one may work without a lot of effort. There should be sections of the frame with flat plate that may make it easier to mount some by the engine mount, prob allowing up to roughly 4" of drop from floorboard height. Not sure that would work, but worth looking into more. Here are some ideas on footpegs and links to diff ones... modernvespa.com/forum/topic114218www.rockymountainatvmc.com/search?term=foot%20pegswww.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=404667011
