the blue CDI if you get a picture of it and view it fullscreen it has TZR50 on it does that ring a bell If you read all the comments on the previous video one guy give all the advance rates of the different colour CDIs And even if you suceed in derestricting a stock CDI you cant beat an aftermarket performance CDI designed for your type of engine 2t or 4t I should buy a performance CDI myself but i have a bigger bike also that needs money spent on it

This video is a classic he thought he was having grounding problems with his CDI so he added a ground very interesting and easy to try being smart is not about your shoe size. And asking too many questions has its own set of problems eyes and ears will get you thru

So I tried removing the green wire. Scooter didn't even start. It actually nearly flooded the carb. I had to use the kick-start to clear it out and it sputtered to life on the 3rd-4th kick. My CDI is brown, and is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It has the standard 2 & 4 prong setup. The 4 prong only has 3 wires in it. The fourth is completely empty with no signs that there was ever a wire in that port.

Sounds like you have an unrestricted CDI if you want to go faster you need to change the final drive

Thanks guys. I'll check the manual and see what the factory gear is and go from there. I have an unrestricted boss coming in and an orange CDI. If all else I'll use it as a spare.
