Greetings from Iowa!
I just recently joined this forum and need a some help picking out the right carb for my scooter. I recently purchased a Tao Tao BWS 150 scooter which is currently being shipped and should arrive early next week. I'm trying to gather all the parts necessary to perform a full PDI but can't seem to find the right replacement carb. I want to buy a Kei Hin carb but don't know which one to get.
Does anybody know where I can find one that would fit this particular scooter? Any help is greatly appreciated!

You came to the right place. Is it a new scooter? If so it will have a sealed carb, I would remove the seal and adjust the mixture to get the highest idle. There is a few places I would look at for parts. www.partsforscooters.com/?partner=49CCSCOOT and www.scrappydogscooters.com/ would be my first 2 choices. You can find them on ebay as well. Dont get the 29.00 knock off clone carb, You will not like it. Have a look here and you will find a wealth of information that will be helpful. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/board/9/49ccscoot-com-tech-library If you have any questions no matter how small please ask. We have alot of knowledgeable family members. After all we are one big family here.

Not sure where to get a genuine Keihin 24mm CVK carb for the 150. I see some advertised as Keihins, but I'm not sure they aren't fakes. Just search for Keihin 24mm or Keihin GY6 on google and links will come up if you wanna check 'em out. Is your stock carb sealed? I don't mess with the 150s really. Didn't know they were sealing carbs on the larger than 50cc models. If it's not sealed and it runs OK, you may not need to replace it.

Welcome to the forum. I would wait till you have the scooter, then you can better judge if you need a replacement carb
