New to this board, but not to small engine of variations.
Not much to post. Its basically a practice engine to test the waters on .well water cooling.
Ncy single ring kit
17.5 mm carb. 82 main 48 idle.(tad rich)
Stage 6 pro rep
Delta clutch, need to switch blue springs.
Malossi variator. 3.5 weights. Yellow torsion spring.
I used a dremel to straighten the slot in the torque driver. And raise the height of the TD slot.
Lightened flywheel.
Some carter porting.

How it runs as of now. You can hear the richness of the pilot jet.

Good to see you again. Still got any midbikes? My old 4T swap cateye is still around, I just never ride it. Looks like the Zuma is running strong even with a little sputter. What kind of radiator did you use for the LC conversion?

And i am attempting to find a shifter kart to install a gpx 150 engine into as well. Glad to hear your cateye is around since my banning on pbnation i jusy sqwandered around in a sense. So far only using one cr85 radiator. Im thinking of installing two for the florida weather and for future builds. The speed gauge reeds in increments above ten. 10 is 20, 20 is 30. So on and so forth.

With a good coolant capacity, your CR radiator seems fine. A guy in my area run his malossi big bore 77 with this kind of radiator.

Glad to hear your cateye is around since my banning on pbnation i jusy sqwandered around in a sense. I got out of midbikes and into scoots when the larger motors were just starting to come around on pocketbikeplanet. Don't get hassled by cops for riding the scoots on the road so that pretty much killed the midbikes for me. 110-114-125cc were still what most had then. I wish I was able to get one of the scooters/mopeds I've seen that has that style of engine so I could swap in one of the larger versions. Anyway, sorry to go so far OT in your first thread here, but please show it off here if you do get an x18 or kart.

It made me the mech i am today .finding more and more ways to get engines quicker. But for those who are not familiar with the x18

Just curious, what kind of speeds were you getting with the big motor? I know my bud's, the one that every seller seemed to steal my video for, did 63 with a sprocket and stock engine. I always thought 70 would be easy just working with the stock engine, but he never cared to work on it. Gotta be some good speed there moving up 40cc I assume.

I was able to hit 86 with room to pull more speed. 17 front with a 32 rear and second gear would wheelie if done to aggressive. However it made cornering difficult. It would wheelie past every turn and slide on slicks if too aggressive as well.
The high compression piston was no joke in the kick back department either. I still have a scar from a kickstarter breaking and digging right into my ankle -_-
