Scooterworks Drag Race Series 2010
Get ready to race! The Scooterworks Drag Race Series is in full effect starting June 20th. We will be hitting the track the third Sunday of each month to fulfill our need for speed. One of the reasons we chose a bracket race series is that just about anyone can put a dead man switch on their scoot, drive down to the track on Sunday morning and have a great time for just a few bucks. For the die hard speed junkies we are also holding a heads up “King of the Hill” winner take all exhibition race as well.
Ok Im sold but how do I get started?
First you need to check out our website www.scooter-racing.net for more details regarding NASRA membership and safety requirements. Once you meet those simple and affordable requirements your ready to race. First class entry fee is $15 and a additional $10 for both classes. Competitors in the bracket racing series will be required to be a member of NASRA and points will be awarded throughout the year depending upon race results and participation. At the end of the year we are hosting a rider’s banquet to hand out the final awards and other festivities. King of the Hill is exhibition only and NASRA membership is not required. All vehicles must be a scooter (read no sprinters or one off’s), and will be required to pass tech inspection.
This event is held with the support of Scooterworks USA, NASRA, and The Brown County Dragway. Without them this event wouldn’t be possible and we look forward to having a great season.
