I like the section on how to remove the bearing in the tech area! I'm going to be picking up that bearing puller on my next day off. The reason being that my kick starter spring got a little loose and the kick gears were rubbing, making a hell of a racket. I decided I had just about enough of listening to that noise, and proceeded to take off the CVT cover. It wouldn't budge. I kind of knew right then something was wrong, but I still looked for maybe a bolt I had missed on the cover or something (i've done it before...). Looked and tried to budge over and over. Finally decided something needed to be done and I had to get the cover off, so I got the biggest flathead I had and pried it off - and it wasn't easy at all. Eventually got it off and a bunch of little steel balls fell out . The bearing was in pieces. Shit... lol Where can I find one of these bearings?? I tried looking around but I can't find it! :stumped:
