I forgot to mention that the fuel petcock I had installed leaked. It was not a vacuum style and had a leverto turn gas on & off. When I took it off, as I was loosening the petcock it fell apart! That was the leak. $16 down the drain.
I just ordered another one from Ebay. I hope it doesn't take too long to get here.

I just ordered a free flow air filter for my Dongfang. What is a good carb and exhaust that has some performance to it. I've seen too many performance exhausts that state reworking may be needed to fit. I am staying away from them. I would like a performance exhaust that is the same as a stock GY6 exhaust that bolts right up.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I WANT MORE POWER!

I went for the 80cc kit, payed 26 doll hairs (now 35) for mine and got 46 top speed and quick about getting there. Stock carb with 90 Mj and stock exhaust W/ a hole in it. Never did get the carb dialed in just right. The 80cc kits seem to be better on the rest of the scoot, though there are members with the 100 that have had good results. I can't say much on the longevity of the cheap kits as my scoot was.. well, you know.

From what I've read, the 50mm or 52mm BBK's need a strong aftermarket crankshaft. The 47mm seems not to destroy a stock crankshaft.

I Think humanshield is a member who has had good results with the 100 kits. If considering a 100 id seek his advice.

If you don't have to have the fastest scooter in the neighborhood, I'm a fan of the 47mm kits. Nice gains with less risk. Others enjoy the 50mm stuff. I don't personally understand the whole go easy on it or don't tune it for max performance mentality, so I like the 47mm stuff that seems to take more abuse. I run my 100cc 2Ts WOT a lot, so there's no way I'm gonna be happy on even a true ~80cc 4T without it being ran hard. If you don't have the same mindset as I do and understand that there can be life below WOT, the bigger stuff may be nice for when your more refined brain says it's OK on occasion to gently sneak towards full power.

That's the problem for me, I love to go WOT (a lot). To put a 50mm BBK it would need an aftermarket crankshaft (44mm stroker crank would be nice), but I don't have the experience yet to split a case and install a new crank. (I also don't have many of the tools required to do that kind of engine work).

My stock shock is in the garbage, I think. You should be able to get a very close measurement with the shock installed as long as you don't have a lot of weight on the scoot. I'll see if I made a note of it anywhere, but I thought mine was only around 250mm stock. EDIT : I guess I did no measuring, because I had a shock lying around so I just compared. What I used was about 1" longer and I like how it sits. I'm tall and fat though, so a small change in height doesn't matter to me and the scooter dips down more than it will with some when I'm on it. For handling, it seems to work better when the rear sits a little higher on scoots.

Ok, so I will order the 280mm shock. Extra clearance for the rear tire is a bonus. I'm 5'9" and most scoots are a little low for me, so if it sits a little higher, that's fine.

I bought a new rear shock.
Bought a 47mm BBK. My question is, will I get more performance out of either an A-8 or A-9 cam? It says the A-8 & A-9 cams are for 125cc & 150cc. Will a bigger cam be a benefit with a 47mm BBK?

Don't buy a cam that says it's for the 150. It won't fit. Most of the cams for the 139QMB are labeled as A9 or "performance" or some brands own spec. Some people have had good results from cams. I had an NCY "performance" cam on my old 139QMB and it definitely increased power at higher revs. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/12077/cam-riding-impressions-scooter-50mm

Do I need a different CDI to go with my 47mm BBK, or is the stock one good enough?
Also, can someone recommend a stator that puts out more power than a stock one? This is for a 4t, AC system, All LED lights.
