I need a chrome kick start lever to go with it. I'll check into kick start parts, I can use the parts off my current kick start (hardly used).

I tracked one down that fits my 2t, i just don't know if they also work on 4t qmb's. Worst case scenario, you could check out maxi scoot, scootertuning.ca, or the like. I realize they stock the high end stuff, but it could be your first stage 6 part rofl

Kick starts for 2t's and 4t's are different.

No top end speed test yet, too windy. We're in thunderstorm season.
I can tell you this scooter wants to RUN! The way I have the CVT tuned it is really hard to keep under 20mph, I live 1/2 mile down a dirt road so that can be a problem. On pavement it wants to cruise at 37 to 38mph, the engine just settles in and loves that speed. I am WOT when taking off, and the response as well as the power of the 47mm BBK is great. I maintained 36mph straight into a 20mph wind! This beast just loves to run at a fast pace.
All speeds are off the Garmin GPS.

I installed a 12 LED driving light on my Dongfang (that's what some of the wiring I've been doing is for). It's 18 watts and 3,800 lumens. This light is bright. It has a focused beam that I aimed a comfortable distance in front, but it also illuminates the side of the road. Pics; Pics of the front on the dark road; Pic of high beam without the driving light; Pic of low beam with driving light; Big difference, I don't know how I drove at night without it, even though my headlight is a 1,500 lumens LED, it doesn't light up like the driving light does.

I got my Malossi Multivar and some CVT stuff (rollers & contra spring) today! CVT tuning coming up! I'll see if I can get some more MPH out of it.

I'm getting the 20mm carb fine tuned. #100 main jet was too big so I put a #95 main jet. Running it for 120 miles I did a plug chop, the porcelain was the right color but I was getting some popping from takeoff and when getting back on the throttle after a turn, so I went from a #35 pilot jet to a #33 pilot jet. I will test ride when I go to work tomorrow.

Totally following this (still) i want many more updates! Planning to update the schwinn soon. Do you have a list of the engine parts you've gotten and where you sourced most of it? I'm probably gonna do the same setup. Obviously the cvt and carb tune are my own, but the rest of the setup sounds like a winner to me!

Carb is dialed in. I'm very happy with the performance of the 20mm Glixal carb with the jets I have in it now. #33 pilot jet runs really well. Just right. No popping from a takeoff, twist the throttle and it GOES, no hesitation. #95 jet, the plug chop os the correct color (caramel brown).
I got my orange coil and orange CDI from NYC Scooter Parts. I put the coil on first. The engine started idling much better, I thought I was getting weak spark. Set the idle, went for a 20 mile ride, no change in performance.
Recently I've noticed a drop in my top end speed, new belt ready to on with my new Malossi Multivar, I thought it was the belt.
Turns out the drop in top speed was due to the CDI. It sounded like it was cutting out on me. Same stock CDI that got me 46mph after the BBK install. New orange CDI and I got my speed back! The CDI was messing up, not my CVT belt.
Going to rain the next 2 days so I'm going to put the Malossi Multivar in the CVT and re-tune the CVT.

Do you have a diameter on the malossi multivar and the diameter of your stock vari? I'd be curious what the diameter difference is. Scrappy has one they claim is larger in diameter than stock with improved ramps. A scrappy clone of the malossi multivar? Lol But it's still an option for "overrange" on our 139qmb engines
