Tried to go to website for E-ton scooter, etonamericaDOTcom not working? Anyone know why?
Going to pickup my 2nd ever project ('09 E-ton sport 50) on Wednesday.
Was bought from online police auction.
Got it for a highest bid price of 32$ plus the warehouse fee $11.99 plus local sales tax total = $46.86 Had bookmarked etonamerica website , message box server not found pops up when trying to go there
Plus when I go to a certain scooter parts website for E-ton sport 50 parts show a 2T engine for sale for this scoot supposed to be 4T misleading adds??

Eton scooters are made by Jiee Industry ( www.ji-ee.com/en/index.php ) If you are really "stuck" (though I don't know why?) you can inquire at the Canadian distributor ( www.go4itsales.ca/about-eton.html ) *when I go to a certain scooter parts website for E-ton sport 50 parts show a 2T engine for sale for this scoot supposed to be 4T* Many Chinese scooters started out their product life as 2 cycle scooters. The EPA has put a stop to that and many models were silently upgraded(?) to 4 stroke engines. Many times, within a model line, the early ones were 2 cycle, and the later were 4 cycle. |

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Maybe could you tell me where i could see a wiring diagram for the 2009 E-ton sport 50.
I do have the diagram for a sport 150 would that be same? I got this scooter just Wednesday 4th from a police auction, on the cheap too, possible was stolen
B4 so the key switch was non functioning(vandalized key hole)there are 2 wires (from harness from frame) a red and a black that are
spliced together, a female connector with 2 yellows and a green not connected(opposite side of ign. switch), the five wires (short harness from key switch w.male connector) not connected to anything and there is no female connector to connect it to?, front is damged from a spill?,scrapes and scratches but no cracks front wheel fender still good, headlight missing,, front (headlight mount) fender broke..at battery some wires are not connecting to neg. side.. pos. side all good was connection present. cdi wires were intact but there is 1 black 1 green white stripe 1 red small gauge wire just cut not terminated plus the larger gauge green wire same not terminated Thus when i try to test for spark there is no spark. Do you
know a way to bypass, also would like to know should i get a spark if the battery was completely removed? There is a battery but try trickle charge doesnt seem to be any goo.

Etons are quite often dc powered cdi. If the battery is junk you can hook up a charger so you have 12 volt to power cdi then kick and check for spark. This 2 or 4 stroke? Yahoo groups Eton had a beemer manual in the downloads of its 2 stroke that manual might help

Eton he's no longer importing to stroke scooters only four strokes but if you need parts go to get2itsales.com I promise you there is nothing you won't be able to find on that website it is awesome

I got a 2009 eton beamer 50cc 4 stroke cant seem to get spark and thats right off the magneto pickup coil wire which is blue and white i get volts through the green and white wire mind you its a 3 wire magneto
