All, I have a Yamaha Jog frame that is titled and registered and still have the complete wiring harness. I stripped the whole scoot down and during fall clean-up decided to toss the engine, plastic, seat, etc to get it out of the way.
I have always wanted to mount a small dirt bike or Briggs engine in a scoot with a rigid rear section and a go kart sized rear tire (or small DOT rated tire). Has any such thing been done before? I have searced lots of different things on the internet and haven't seen what I am looking for.
Any info or ideas are welcomed.

The stock wiring harness isn't gonna do much good. I have done a 4 whheler motor swap into a different frame and I used the harness from the engine I used. U would need the rear swingarm and the bracket that holds it to the frame. Yes is has been done. Do you still have the plastics you would like to sell?

Having the stock harness allows me to get the lights and signals hooked up easier. Do you have links to similar swaps? I tossed the plastics, sorry.

You could accomplish much the same with a pit bike swing arm assembly....... though I don't know anybody who has a 35hp Rotax Kart engine lying about. Just to be goofy you could hang a small air cooled diesel + Torque-A-Verter in there...... might just see about 65mph out of it.

It is just easier to hook up the engine electronics with the harness it goes with. It would easier find the "power" wire from the harness that goes with the engine and splice it and send power to head light , blinker relays ect. A yamaha blaster can be pretty modded and parts are abundant. Only problem is you have to have 2 wheels out back!!
