got a great deal, look like hell but it is 95% complete. i am going to start the process of getting it ready to install. I still have a brand new 70cc i am waiting on air box so i can finish tuning. I will ride it until I get this 90 built. let me know what you guys think? It is from a polaris. What is the stroke? 42m? will a stroker 45mm fit in there WITHOUT case work? how big of a bore? could i put 54mm hoca cylinder on it? This is just something i am going to build on the side for fun. maybe put it in my scoot and let my son take it out to the local 1/8th mile. i will do leak down and compression test, or i may just open her up and build to my liking... question, it said in the description it stopped firing. I dont know much about ac/dc scooter setups. I have a 92 jog. dont know what it is...it runs without a battery if that makes a difference. I fugure if the stators are different i will just swap them what i get ready to run it. That is if the 50cc stator will work with the flywheel on the engine? thanks for help/replies in advance!

It's a 42mm stroke stock and a 45mm crank should fit. Stock bore should be 52mm and you can fit 54mm.
The elctrical parts are compatible, but your Jog should be a small taper flywheel and this needs large taper. The stator should be fine though as long as the wires match up. Not sure if wire configs are different on the Jog?

If the jog runs without battery it's ac cdi the polaris is likely dc. the stator should work with the Eton Flywheel. Should be 50 or 52mm bore x42mm stroke. 45x54 should drop rite in. If it passes compression and pressure test I would drop it in and try it out. You could port the stock Cylinder if you want more or do a bbk and stroker crank. The Cylinder kits come in 2 Heights depending on the stroke of the crank. Also with standard or auxiliary exhaust ports. Standard is easier if you want to port it. I've got a short standard kit if your crank is good if you are interested

cool, i may need a new top end. we will see when i get this sucker in the mail. I was considering buying a Overrange MHR kit for my 70cc but now i may use that amazon money to buy a crank. I am soo hyped about this. I used to ride quads and dirt bikes and always wanted a 2 stroke on rode vehicle. There wasnt anythig that would ever be in my budget so this is like a dream come true to even have a 2 stroke street ride. i may end up looking for another frame to put this baby in..who knows but i am stoked! I think some of the later 90's had a 50 bore and 45 stroke...

on the tag in the picture it says 01 scrambler. it is kinda hard to notice but if you look you can see it. I assume that it means "2001".

thanks 90gtvert! looks like the ignition timing for the 50cc and 90cc is 2 degrees diffrent..wonder if that will make a difference. I could always slot my stator but i dont have a timing light anymore. guess i could get a cheapie at HF. but i dont know that 2 degrees would matter much

A couple of degrees of advance may help, but it's not necessary and it's probably not going to make a big difference. Might wanna get it setup and running before you worry about that. If there's no spark knock when you're running it hard then maybe try the advance if you can get a timing light. You can do it w/o the light but it's nice to know where it's set if possible. The CDI can change it too.
