Welcome!!
Lightly modded you say....
My 50cc won't make a true 50MPH downhill with a 60mph tail wind. Now there was a day when I was going downhill with a stiff tail wind and the speedo read 50MPH but I don't believe my speedo is anywhere close to correct. LOL
I may have to figure out how to use a GPS device of some sort. I am an old fart with an ancient flip phone.

Well, you are on a 50cc 4t, which is severely under powered when compared to a 50cc 2t LOL. It is lightly modded in my opinion, just a pipe and some trans work, and tuning tuning tuning. A GPS verified 52mph on the downhill. Ill make a full list of all my mods 2moro.

There is one advantage in a 50cc 4T. According to research with officers at the local police dept no tag, registration, or insurance is required because of the low HP. It is considered a motorized bicycle in Kansas and is specifically exempt. That clears me from having to do a bunch of very expensive 'Imperial' paperwork every year. I do travel in five different police zones so it is only a matter of time before I get stopped by an overzealous officer that thinks he remembers the law and needs to fill his ticket quota. It has happened to a couple people I know.

I am looking for ideas. I don't like to keep anything stock. From electric guitars to street machines and motorcycles just about everything I own gets customized my way (except for the grocery getter, I do need one of those and I leave that stock). Now that I am learning a lot about scooters, the urge to do mods is growing.
