For tank cleaning,I use 'brick cleaning acid'(hydrochloric)VERY strong and dangerous!Mix some up,wear heavy rubber gloves and a face shield, pour into tank, let sit 30 min, pour out and rinse.may need a second try,,Fuel sender floats can be cork(must be coated with a thin sealer),even a modded old carb float (car/motorcycle)will work,I solder a new section of stiff wire to the old rusted one to attach the float to,keep it all light or the float will sink!

Definately can not fit a scooter in a Metro. I've seen kits online to turn your hatchback into a tiny truck though, wonder if that would work? Sadly the Geozilla truck kit seems to have gone off to the cyber grave yard I had been thinking my next car would be a truck though, don't have anyone with a truck any more to save my but if the scooter pukes on the road. The miliage though, yuck. I just took apart the carb on the Baron for the first time in 5 years, and it was still clean! I always use premium, must help. First two years I didn't know to use any gas treatment to store for the winter either, always started up in the spring once I got the batteries sorted out.
