I got a slide carb back to going that looked a lot like that for my buddy's Yamaha 250 ATV. I wouldn't doubt that gasohol had something to do with that.

That carb had more than just a couple of drops of water get in the gas. That is some very serious crystal formation. What is the history of this scooter?

Hatchbacks are pretty cool. I bought a non runner last year and it fit in my Focus HB laying down. I was able to close the hatch and all. I need a way to transport a scooter in a normal fashion though, like in case of a breakdown. I am thinking of installing a hitch.

With todays fuels a long time can be six months to a year. This one sat for i dont know how long? The fuel tank is getting a good cleaning as well, it rusted . The float for the sending unit came off in the tank at one point too and dosnt seem to fit through the hole. Anybody ever mess with those? I was thinking anything that fuel wont eat and is small and floats would work. Just attach it with zipstips or something Any ideas???

I've always had a hard time fitting the floats through the holes they put int the tank. I dunno if it swells a bit or if it's just typical Chinese design. Last one I dremeled the hole lightly and it came out much easier. Never messed with it enough to cause any sealing issues or anything.
