Might wanna check the timing on the Beta ARK. Woodruff key sheared or something's been played with or maybe a faulty CDI. Reeds in good shape?

cheers for advice aye will get into it in more detail soon just checked the basics
got back from lifting it at 11pm and messed about til nearly 12. airbox was off so put that on changed plug cap as it was loose and checked spark and fuel. the carb breather tube on the bowl was connected at the other end to the collar on the oil tank filler neck where spilled oil drains from so basically any petrol going into the pipe from the carb was just sitting there as it couldnt make it up high enough to get out lol
I dont know if the guys who I got this from were smart enough to mess with timing but woodruff key could well be sheared so will look there next lol

hey guys, thought i would stick an update in this thread, i really mean to be better at updating but i just get busy and forget about it. got a few things to update. So the wee honda express is all finished and ready for mot (inspection), looks pretty much the same but i removed the turn signals, it doesnt need them for mot anyway. will update maybe with a video after i get it mot'd. the beta ark is in the queue, i just realised i havent put a pic of it up yet so i might do that soon. Here is the 94 suzuki ae50, it in great condition think it has only 3000 miles on it but it has been sitting for so long that the piston has stuck from sitting so a rock on the flywheel with some WD40 in the cylinder will hopefully sort that out.  I picked up this 1990 Peugeot 103 Vogue the other week, it runs with fuel down the inlet or plug hole but the carb is bolloxed. Im trying to get it sorted out at present, it is a really weird 12mm gurtner i might try to change to something else completely. This bike is rad because 1. its variated, and 2. they werent sold here i think it is a french import that someone has registered here, still has a yellow headlight bulb in it lol. Frame and engine side covers are off in pics but i have them all.    I really meant to have the express through its mot this week as i was off work but i bought another new toy and have been playing with that instead lol   Will update again soon |

here are some pics of my express now it is all finished. i saw another project on gumtree on saturday and bought it which i will post a pic of here too. the express is up for sale and i broke the stalker for spares. you guys reading this may think that each time i post a new buy in this thread one of the previous ones is gone. well youd be wrong lol just because i havent posted about it in a while doesnt mean its not still here. after breaking the stalker, and selling the express i will still have 8 bikes left! i had to put the new buy at my dads until i get rid of a couple here lol!    New buy, Suzuki Ts 125 R i believe? Early 90s? No reg or tax book with it lol have sent frame number off for a chassis check. Have wanted a off road style 2t for a while. Have been riding it around my dads and it rips, but its not as nice as it looks in pics, exhaust front pipe is like a sieve and has been so badly welded before i think ill have to replace it as i cant weld it again its a mess, cooling system full of rust, still seems to cool bike well though lol, and rad cap leaks a little, fork seals busted, back shock saggy, homemade sketchy chainguard and i think a disc is bent. And ignition barrel missing. Probably wont replace it though even if bike is made road legal lol! However, its all there no damaged plastics or anything and shouldnt cost a fortune to fix. But needs most things stripped/repainted and above problems fixed. Straps still on so compressing suspension -  |

no because the only thing together and road legal is the blade at the minute LOL!!!
well the express could be if i got it inspected but thats why i chose it to sell as it is the only completed project, and also although its a cool wee bike i just cant "see" myself riding it. i just like having it.
