Hello, I install all the BBK from ENVIROMOTO, but i didn't put the rollers and the uni air filter it was in the kit.
I gap the valve at 003 In, 004 exhaust and put the Jet #88. When i fill up the carburator, the motor start first start and he keep is idle and the motor very run smoothly!!!! I leave it running, at idle speed 1 minute and i see he have little smoke come from the exhaust, i know i put with my finger 2 stroke oil inside the cylinder to put the piston. I drive it slowly in my driveway little bit (because is raining) and bring back inside the garage and he was make smoke again...
Sunday i' going to make a little ride around the block and see after if it smoke again... Do you think is normal the smoke a have or i need to make the running in before?
What is the running in we need to do with a new 72cc kit!?

I wouldn't worry just yet. Take if for a real ride when you can and see if it still smokes then. I don't really do much of a break-in procedure. Take it out and run it half throttle for a bit then back off for a bit then 3/4 and back off for a bit and then WOT. Something like that. In reality I usually start it up and take off WOT after it warms up. lol

I've done that on most of the scooter builds I've done. I set the idle and make sure it revs and stuff like that, but once I get on to try it I really try it. I tell other people to go part throttle and stuff first becasue that's what everything else says you should do for hard break in. I'm no break-in expert. I just know that when I build them and do the stepped break in or when I build them and do the WOT break in I seem to get the same result.

OK, I drive the scooter today, with the UNI air filter and jet #88 on the scooter, but the scooter is realy to loud!!! I remove it , i have a spare jet #85 here, i put in the carbutaror and re-install the original air filter. I remove 2 air restriction inside and open the entrace. I try the bike (5 miles) and it was much better, now i have more torque in acceleration. When i come back, i check the sparkplug and it was lite brown and dry, no oil on it! I re-ajust the valve, i put .004 in and 004 exhaust and the motor run smooth. I also mix my 5,1G rollers with the 8.2G come with the kit. So it make 6.5G and now i have a lot of torque and much more faster then before... I didn't check the top speed, but at 1\2 trottle i hit easy 65km\h (40mph)! For the burning oil, it's almost finish i think, i do around 25 miles today, it smell burning oil little bit but not smoke like this morning... Vermi!

Sounds like it's all coming together nicely. Since there is no evidence of oil on your plug, you are probably safe. The smell of oil burning is normal after a rebuild. I always end up with oil and/or chemicals on the engine that burn off.
