I was given a stock pipe off of a vento gt5. Well i decided that before i put it on my scoot that i would cut it open and take all the restrictions out of it. Well don't you know when i was working on getting the baffles out the stinger hit the concreete and i crushed it part of the way closed . Does anyone have a old expansion chamber type muffler laying around that they would be willing to cut the stinger you know the curved part right after the expansion chamber off and sale it to me. Please i really want to see if this pipe is going to be any good or not.

It can be repaired most of the time with heat and hammer, also I've used all sorts of easily available stuff for stingers such as 10speed type bicycle handlebars, lawn mower handles, shop light handles, etc!Just start looking around for curved tubing, its every where ;D

I've never done it, but others have mentioned filling the bent area with water and freezing it. It'll expand and pop the dent out. Worth a try. Here's something I found real quick on a search showing it working... www.crfsonly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25714

Great ideas guys. That is my old pipe he is "opening up" and gonna use on a Buddy he rescued this week. Glad I finally tempted him over to the 2T dark side.
