I ride with my wife tonight, we make 15 miles after souper. I make a top speed of 43 mph, but majority of timeit was 32~37mph. At home i check the plug to see if everything was ok, it was lite grey again!!! Some people said to adjust the needle inside the carburator. But i can't adjust my needle no adjustement on it, but tomorrow i'm going to try put little bit higher. I don't understand why i can put my spark plug little bit darker? I stay with the original air box with a jet #95 and 72cc. Some people with the BBK and UNI filter use jet under 95 and didn't have problem. Vermi

You could always try a much larger jet like a 110 and see if that ever leans out on you or if it's just way too rich. If you have the cash to spare, I'd prob buy a good assortment of larger jets.

In begin i use 1mm drill bit and drill a old jet i have here for my carburator. I think it was too big, the scooter start but when i touch the gas he die! What i do, i put 2 littles washers under the needle with jet #95 and it change nothing. After i put the restriction inside the air box, when i give gas the motor have miss and die! I change the jet for the #90 and leave the restriction inside the air box and adjust the air screw. At low speed the motor have miss but after 30 km\h the acceleration and top speed (70 km\h) was good. The spark plug come black and dry! When i check the restriction, one side of the tube is 25mm and the other side is 20mm. I cut the 20mm section and now no more miss at low speed and good acceleration. Now i going to check the top speed, i think i lost little bit, but not sure. Spark plug look good but i do a longer ride. This is picture of my carburator, i think it's a 19mm??? Vermi

Yeah, thats the typical 19mm carb found on GY6 50s. Hopefully you get a good speed so you can start enjoying riding instead of having to mess with everything. ;D

I buy jets #100 and #110. The #110 was too big, the spark plug was dark black! The jet #100, lite brown, with 2 levels down on the needle. The best i think is 105!?
I leave it like that, i'm tired to play with that.... :stars:
