Also got the side body panels i ordered from partsforchinesescooters. One had a scratch on it. I'm going to repaint them to match anyway. But if i wasn't i wouldn't be happy. They came individually wrapped in plastic so not sure when the scratch happened.

I'm pretty sure left side of the carburetor was where the oil line port was on my Vino.

1977 mostly cater to older mopeds where u pre mix the gas anyway so dont need an oil feed on the carb

I think i could tap my own oil feed. Just not sure what I am going to do with it yet. The other carb i have coming is the proper one with an oil feed etc. so right now it's just a paper weight.

I should have called my scooter zippy.... I removed 11 zip ties and actually installed some bolts to hold things together. Down to the bare bones now, but got the wiring and cables routed and cleaned up. I also installed a BBK I swapped off my other motor which i am currently not using. I cleaned out the carb which had been left to sit for a year with gas in it(not fun). I also drained out a pint of 2t oil from the crankcase when i swapped the top end. I guess since it sat for over a year with oil still in the tank? Almost completed painting the body panels to the wife's specifications. This scooter also has a resistor up front never seen that on a scooter before.

The ones that point down are the vents, both of which should remain open. My Dell did not have a oil injection port, or a vacuum port, it looks like yours does not either. Also by the looks of it you may have a 4T atomizer in there, not sure if that will be a problem or not.

I have no idea about the atomizer. I am far from an expert on these carbs. I will most likely sell or trade it for something else.

Can't get a spark from this thing. Must be something wrong with the electrical system. Jumped from the battery to the starter all it does is spark so i am assuming the starter is bad also. So i need to truble shoot the electrical system. It'll have to wait I haven't been thinking clearly lately or sleeping much. I did however get all the body panels painted.

It's likely a bad starter, but before you spend the money on one you may want to pull it out or pull off the starter clutch/gears and see if it spins then just in case it's something jammed up elsewhere. Also if you only jumped it with the positive side, try with grounding it too. Some no-spark info below. If you've got spares sometimes it's easier or faster to swap out parts rather than screw around with a multimeter. Really the only easy way to check a CDI is to swap it. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/647/start-troubleshooting?page=1Hope you get rested up soon. My 93 year old granny lives here and now only gets around being pushed in a wheelchair so she wakes the house up all night, then at 4-5AM she thinks everyone should be awake. I get it. I've been a zombie for months now and have a lot harder time reading technical types of things or thinking in general.

Look for a short. Burnt or chaffed wire. Is the fuse blown in this scoot?
