Welcome to the site!
It sounds like the float inthe bowl of the carburetor may have got stuck. The float and other associated parts stop maintain a certain level of fuel in the carburetor. If the float sticks or if debris gets in there it may not shut off the fuel and it will overflow out of the carb. Try tapping on the bowl (bottom portion) of the carb with a screwdriver or something first (don't try to break it, just tap it). That may unstick it. If not, you will need to pull the carb off for farther inspection.

I'm going through the same right now! Again !!!! There is a screw at the bottom of the carb bowl. It's a drain screw. If you open the drain it will empty the bowl. You need to bring the level down to optimum to start. Another possible quick fix is to open the drain take off the fuel line and spray a few shots of canned air into the carb. If it is some debris it might knock it out. Put the fuel hose back on and refill the carb by cranking the engine, When it hits the optimum level it should start. If there is still a problem with the float, it will flood again.

I had a guy look at it an took the bowl off an showed me that the flot was not sticking. an i have the air filter off the back of the carb. it will run for a lil bit then die. but gas will start leaking out of the back of the carb again..

Mine is fixed again. The float had fallen right off and was sitting in the bowl.
Last time I had a carb bowl problem, I took it apart, cleaned it, and reassembled it 5 or 6 times. I think my problem was not tightening the float down enough. When you really see what a simple system it is keeping the fuel at the optimum level, you can realize how many things could go wrong.

It's definitely a usual suspect in any fuel flooding issue.

yeah cause when it stops running gas still runs out the back of the carb.
