Does it leak constantly or for just a little bit after you shut it off? Try lowering the fuel level inside the carb bowl by bending the little tab on the float toward the top of the carb ever so slightly so the float valve shuts off the fuel flow sooner. Just bend it a little bit. 1mm will make a difference. I colored the part you bend in the pic below. make sure the rubber tip on the fuel inlet valve/needle is in good shape. (2nd pic)

Mines leaking right now as well. I have just been ignoring it since yesterday. Too excited to worry about it; just got back on the road after a month. Now after only getting 20mpg I think something needs to be done.
My issue is that I misplaced one of the float bowl screws, and the float needle needs to be adjusted just a tad.
Another thing that bothers me with the drip is that carb is almost right over the cylinder. Don't want to be blowing my self up or anything.

My carb leaks alittle also out the overflow. I was told buy my E-Ton dealer that it was because the float needle was metal on the end and should be rubber. When I did a re-jet to attempt to tune for my pipe. I took that apart to clean it. And sure enuf it is metal. So it's like a $5 part. Over time the metal does not seat right. Hope that helps
