 I like those Taotao Thunders! If I had the money for a new scooter, a Thunder would be the one. It has nice alloy 12" rims. I'm sure you will be doing some mods to it soon! MORE POWER!

Man, you got a Great deal! That's about half price.
Make sure you change the oil and rear end fluid PRONTO! 10W40 for engine, and 75/90 gear lube in the rear end. It should take 750ml oil and 110ml gear lube (usually stamped on the case and also in the owners manual).
Put a new spark plug in also. NGK CR7HSA for the regular plug (about $3.00 to $3.50). Some use Iridium plug, NGK CR7HSI -I think (@ $9.00).
A magnetic drain plug for the crankcase is also a good idea. Parts For Scooters has them. Click the banner on the Home page.
