I really like the triton. Thr ad says $550 for a 2004 triton. Looks like it has almost5k miles on it. I am not sure if it is worth that much. I will try to get it cheaper like any haggler would. Is $550 too much for it. I have seen alot online going for 350-450 with less miles. I would like to get a 4t because i am used to working on them but i do love a 2t. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk Expand your engine knowledge base and get the 2t. They are easier to work on but finicky with a/f mixture. I recommend buying a cyl. head temp gauge as insurance against seizures. Also buy or download a 2t tuning book. I guarantee the smile on your face will be bigger and you'll keep up or ahead of traffic in town. |

Well i told the guy i only had $420 and he said when do you want to see it. So sunday im gonna see it and i will be riding away with it. Very excited.

It's likely you'll spend $420 more in the next 6 mo. or so but I don't think you'll regret any of it. Good luck and happy modding.

Little scratched up. Needs a battery. Lights work and it runs. I tested it. Got up to 30 and the rpms dropped real low at wot. I will work out all the bugs.

Looks good. Do you have a title? Check the air filter after that it may need the carb cleaned or jetted.

Congrats. I'd definitely pay $380 for that or more.
Could be jetting or maybe needs lighter rollers or a CVT service.

Thanks 90Gt. Took it out for a 30 min ride just now and got some groceries. The throttle seems to have a sweet spot at 1/4 throttle and 3/4 throttle. 1/2 throttle losss in power and full there is a slight decrease in throttle. seems to cruise and pick up pretty fast at 1/4 throttle. Right now it runs. I got it to 45 by speedo. No gps cert. I will get into the cvt and check everything out. I just got it this afternoon.
