Okay, let me start by saying that this is the best place on line, with a bunch of great members. Nowhere else on the internet will you find such a knowledgable, and informative memberbase.
In the few months since joining this.forum, I have learned more about 2t engines than in my previous twenty years of engine building/ repair. Before joinig this site, I had problems with my scoot, each time I had an issue, I would google it, and everytime 49ccscoot.com was where I found the answer. Not just a diagnosis, but the repair methods as well. After trolling here a few weeks, I joined. I was amazed by the collective know-how of the members.
Other forims are full of bragginh, and bully-ing, not here. I saw several people in other forums down talking each others rides and mechanical ability, not here. The people here are awesome.
When I was robbed and. my good scoot stolen, some of the great members, from all over the counrtry, pitched in and helped me bring an imcomplete junkyard find back to life.
People that have never met me, and do not know me helped me. One member donated an exhaust, one a carb, one an expensive bbk, the moderator even pitched in with a cht guage alndan assortment of clutch/contra spring and tuning wieghts. I was dumbfounded. I proudly display twhe 49ccscoot logo on my scoot.. When people see it they ask me what it is, I tell them " Family. ".
A few days ago I got some terrible news, one of my children was diagnosed with a rare nuerologic disorder. The support of the members was staggering.
These lasy few months have been terrible on me and my family, but every time I visit here, I can't help but smile. The information you will find here is priceless. Being a member here is akin to having a service manual for nearly every scooter ever made. 2 or 4 stroke, no matter what you ride, this is the place to be. As soon as I joined, I was bombed with welcomes and greetings. I firmly believe that most ( all? ) of the good hearted, knowledgable, scoot fanatics have jponed here.
A big thank you to each and every one of the members here. Without this forum, I woild jave never finished my scoot. Thanks for the information, the help, and the prayers and well wishes.
THANK YOU ALL.
Chris
