SO...
I just got done reading ALL 6 pages of "Went to JAIL for riding my scooter! - by 2strokd"
--That IS BS MAN! I have never heard that type of madness before! You deserve a story on www.infowars.com / www.prisonplanet.com - Alex Jones in Austin, Texas , a website and talk radio show, all about how the police are cracking down!
WELL... Let me tell you about MY current legal troubles, in KANSAS
2006, I got a DUI. I have NEVER reinstated my drivers license after it was suspended, but got a MOPED License in 2007 or 2008. My Ma's name is on the title of the moped. I lost my Moped License last year. In June, I got pulled over for "running a red light" , given it was 4:30am and I have dreadlocks , riding a MOPED, and not in the best part of town.
The police (Officer Lawler, LAW is in his name!) took my "Expired DL", which I did not claim as a current form of ID. Once you have an Expired Drivers License , they take it from you. The police continued to tell me I needed insurance and a current drivers license for the MOPED. I stated I had a moped license, but I have lost the piece of plastic. They replied with "well if you are SUSPENDED with DUI, you need a DL and insurance on a 49cc motor." I got charged with running a red light, no DL, and no Insurance.
BUT, My question is, How does the state give me a MOPED License? and in Kansas Law, when operating a vehicle, the DRIVERS name DOES NOT have to be on the TITLE, but must be on the INSURANCE. So, I have a Title in my Ma's name, with the "Insurance Number:" field, left blank.
I know, I know, talk to a lawyer...
BUT I will update how this goes. I plan on getting a new piece of plastic for the moped license, then get the title, in MY name, on the new moped I bought.
NOW, if they allow me to accomplish that, then their charges are null and void.
What is Ironic, is that my BROTHER is about to be on the force here in town AND his girl friend. Funk the Police, Coming Straight from the Underground! Haha, had to throw that in there.
Peace be to this house!
