Okay, first CHANGE THE GAS & CLEAN THE CARB. Now, have u ridden it, if so is take off super slow, and rough? The reason I ask is that my firsy scoot did that, turns out, the rear pulley was stuck open, causing it to either slip, or take off in a high gear if thats the case easy fix. Give us as many details as u can, it may be in your details. We need to know as much as possible, so we can make a guessignosis. I am sure somebody here will be able to help you out. But you NEED to change that gas, clean the carb, and maybe change the plug(at least clean it,), and check your filters.

Its a 2 stroke or cycle automatic mix with electric or kick start idle good no start up issues either when i take off its fine. The only time it dies is when i slow down or stop. The guy i bought it from said it needs a new starter because of the electric start now working. But the only thing other than that he said the dying is caused by old gas. I just want more opinions.

Bad gas is a likely culprit. Drain your tank, rinse it, and clean the vaccum petcock, before refilling. Cleaning the carb may be a good idea as well. As for the e-start, what happens when u hit the button? Does the starter motor try to engage? Or does it just click? This forum and its members hold a gigantic amount of knowledge and insite on 2t and 4t ( 2 stroke & 4 stroke ) scooters. These scoots are very addictive, as for modding, and riding. Good luck and keep us posted o your progres. Chris

Welcome to the forum apescoot. Like 2stroked said I would change the gas and clean the carb first. Might be all it needs after being laid up.
