So i just bought a used 2013 taotao50 for $30. It wont kick start. Ive replaced the solenoid,cdi,battery, and still nothing when i pull the brake and try to start it. It does nothing, doesnt even make a noise. Your help will be appreciated

$30 and you want it to start? Lol. Welcome aboard. Make sure the kill switch is on. Sounds dumb but I've done it. Next you'll want to get a volt meter and check voltage to and from the switch, starter, cdi etc. Some after market cdi's are junk and you may want to go back to the original. Electronics aren't my strong point but others will chime in and get you going. $30 really? Great find.

Yeah, i only got it for $30. Didnt expect it to start right away. And its hot everywhere i test it. I came across a unexpected thing. Its a bunch of wires then they connect to a plastic peice. Then theirs a plastic peice plugging in to it with only one wire that is looped back into its own plastic peice. Does this have anything to do with it not starting. Can u put videos on here!?

check:
main fuse
pull plug, check for spark
if vacuum petcock, make sure is functional/try running fuel str8 to carb (bypass petcock)
check intake man, carb boot, exhaust man for air leaks
check vacuum lines leading to carb boot for leaks
check fuel tank for nasties / drain, refill w fresh fuel
try motivational techniques: tell the scooter it will start. firmly.
check valve lash/adjust valves. while valve cover is off, check timing on cam against timing marks/tdc.
check ground wires/ensure good ground

If you can't turn it over at all you need to check the fuse and then make sure you've got power getting all the way to the starter. Kick start may be busted or frozen up. Its getting juice all the way to the starter. Fuse is still good. When i turn it on nothing happens. Im clueless, it wont turnover at all.
