the arreche 19mm carb from moped hosp. I have a 08 gunine buddy with the prima 70 kit and prima pipe that scooter works sells togather as a kit. i have tryed the stock 75 main jet and it runs great but will only survive a few mins and then soft seizes. i have tryed a 80 main and it runs great but did soft seize after awhile and the 85 main is too rich as it has trouble making any power. Would i be better to try a 82.5 main or to order a 19mm arreche carb. I just like everyone else want it to run and make the power it should without seizeing up on me. I would also like a temp gauge for it if anyone knows of one for the a/c that goes around the sparkplug.

I'd suggest either tuning the stock carb or going to a DellOrto. I have a 19mm Arreche and I don't really like it. The main pro to it is that it fits like a stock carb. The problem is that it is also hard to tune and doesn't really seem to improve performance over a stock carb. If you go aftermarket, I suggest manual choke too. It's so much nicer than auto in cold weather. I could pull the choke on my DellOrto and start my scoot in very cold weather pretty easily (teens/twenties). The autochoke struggles in cold weather on the Arreche and lots of stock carbs.

jetsrus.com rockymountainatv.com
If it's a minarelli engine, it can probably use Mikuni VM11/22. Never messed with a Buddy though.

90GTVert do you know if the dellorto carbs come with the adapter for the flange style intakes or will i need to order a intake with it. I'm looking at this one www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Products/P2010158/Carburetor+kit+175mm.aspx If i have to order the intake also do you know which one will work as the carb on mine is one that goes to the back of the motor mount. Thanks for the help

There shoud be different versions of the cars with different mounting options. Look around dellortodirect.com/ and you should be able to see which model you are looking for. I think all minarellis use the clamp in style (the carb clamps inside the intake or a rubber adapter). It wouldn't be a bad idea to check the ID of your manifold to be 100% sure it fits the OD of the carb you order. Probably won't be an issue if you end up with a 17.5mm. I'd go to a 19mm though.
