The belt broke!

Today the belt of my Kymco People 50S 4T.
It was the original belt and only 3500km!!
Is not a big mileage i think for a belt?
I know it was a BANDO belt it was wrote on it!

3500km is equal to 2175 miles. You did not say how you drive it( wide open most of time etc.) I agree it is a little to soon for replacement but you never know. I have replaced belts at 1200 miles and some at almost 4000 miles.
