Some days I don,t feel very girly, like today when I realized I had dunked my hair in the oil pan while changing the oil in my scooter. So as I dripped oil about from my hair  I wondered if there is a product for getting oil off the driveway that works better than kitty litter. It also occured to me that this was why bikers started wearing black.

That sucks. I've had oil, antifreeze, and tranny fluid in my hair before. Used Dawn as shampoo then normal shampoo. lol Got my hair caught in a creeper wheel once too. It just doesn't pay to have long hair sometimes.
The actual commercial absorbers work better I think, but kitty litter does pretty well and is cheap.

The oil stains are pretty much there forever though right? The stuff just takes the liquid off? LOL, it was one of those yuck moments, I had gotten on the floor to get a better angle on the drain screw and didn,t notice till I sat up. I shall not forget the pony tail next time.

If you get some Industrial strength multi purpose degreaser from a janitorial supply or if you have a Smart and Final there. Costco may have it too. Anyway, you pour that stuff straight on the driveway and broom it around for a minute and rinse and it'll get a lot of the stains off. It's super concentrated detergent. Usually Blue in color.
Broom it all over the entire surface so the driveway doesn't look splotchy after. It works good if you leave it on for 5-10 minutes and let it work before you rinse it.

Try scrubbing a 1c. to1 gal. solution of ammonia in water. Scrub it in then hose it off. Or pour paint thinner on stain, scrub with steel wire brush and follow with the kitty litter. Sweep away when dry.
