Hmmm. I kinda like it. When I watch the video with the headlights closed at those angles it looks good. The pic of it with the lights open isn't a flattering view. For my taste it could lose about a foot of rear spoiler height and I think you'd still get the idea of it being a modern Superbird. Not a total fan, bit I applaud the effort and at least it's not a bone stock car with just appearance mods.

Kinda cool for a modern car, but cant hold a candle to the original.

I too love the original Super Birds and Daytona Chargers. But this one was well done and really looks good.

I love the outrageous looks of the original. Must of been like seeing a UFO when they first came out! Not a bad take on the Superbird. Good to see someone trying something different.

My Dad's friend had a '70 Super Bird. He bought it brand new. When he came over with that car I was in heaven checking it out (I was 10 at the time). They looked so cool.

When I was a kid the local dealer had 2 leftover winged wonders they couldn't sell. Must have been 73 or 74 so they were a few years from New. One had a 440 the other had the 426 Hemi they couldn't give them away must be why they are so valuable now lol

Talking about a Super Bird, I went to a car show today and this was there Sweet. Thanks for the pics. Odd though. I'd expect the dog to be the one checking out tires.

I had a plastic model kit of that car. Richard Petty, Buddy Baker and a couple others raced them until NASCAR outlawed the wings as an unfair advantage.
Getting back to the newer one though, It should have been made out of a Dodge Charger and called a Dodge Daytona Charger like the Dodge version of the Super Birds that were made out of Road Runners. By the way, the company that did the wing conversions for Chrysler Corporation was located in Pontiac, MI.
