Here we go again. Let's just say that auction ended while it was still on sale. So if all goes well, eventually all 3 of the 2Ts I own will be 90-100cc. And the 80cc 4T. My name is Brent, and I'm a scooterholic. I might leave the gears in, dunno. I'm kinda worried about a front drum and 60MPH.... and a 90/90/10 front and 60MPH... and a short little scoot and a fat guy at 60MPH... lol Not to mention, I think one day it could be killer fun in town with deep gears. I REALLY wanna do wheelies for all the people thinking they're funny giving me the wheelie signs... and not really have to try. Happened to me just yesterday on the SunL. Makes me cry a little on the inside.

Get that big motor in there and shuffle those gears around,I'm sure it'll give wheelies and a good top end too! :thumb:

If it would have lots of power down low, I'd be happy with about 50MPH like it does now. Not sure if it'll really be that beefy stock. I think it'll be about like the 70 with more low end at first in stock form.

The added inertia of the heavier crank helps the low end a bunch I think

I think you're right. I told Dad about it and he said don't (he rides the Venus). lol I told him he'll be fine, it's not like it will just throw you off when you hit the gas. It may not wanna do anything till I eventually do some tuning.

If you put the Venus tranny in the 90,it'd take off quick and top out about the same as the 70,should be very smooth and rideable!

That's pretty much what I want. I don't need that little sucker doing 60. The Venus' 70cc was only revving to 9200 IIRC, so I shouldn't lose any speed. If it runs like T2 at all, I might pick up a little. T2 did have a 100cc pipe though.

It's a tough fit. Seriously. The SP3 bangs into the fairings (broke a mount). The only reason the MRP fits is because it's made so I can swivel it up and down. It might be a little rough trying to build a pipe to fit sight unseen. You had your scoot to test the others on. Not doubting your abilities, just saying that's quite a task. I got thinking earlier... the frame to spark plug clearance on the Venus is tight. I hope it doesn't become an issue with the 90cc. It's a section of the frame I'd really rather not go chopping up IIRC.

If I can't figure anything else out, I guess that's what I'd have to do.

How much extra room is there? How about a shorter spark plug?Does it have that rubber biscuit/spring mount thingy like on the long case motors??

I dunno all the details. Haven't paid a lot of attention. I'll let you know when I get it. I'm just gonna wait and see. I may be worrying about more issues than I ever have right now, it's hard to say.
