Rather than scatter my pictures and progress all over the place, and i wanted to do a project log anyhow, I figured id put it here for all to see. To start off this is my 1st scooter, and it wasnt in the best of shape. it did however come with a bbk installed. heres what i started with.
i replaced the fail of a floor mat with grip tape. now my feet dont slip off and im not worried about loosing it when riding. i did manage to shoehorn in a set of air powered train horns under the bonnet. it all fits and manages to dim my headlight at idle if i hit it. still funny.
other things ive done so far is go through the fuel system and electrical to make sure no unseen issues will arise. installed 4gram sliders to climb hills better. shaved off some of my top speed but gave me +5mph on my steep hills i hit. I've upgraded my front marker lamp to the L.E.D. one that Brent suggested, and boy does it light up more ground directly in front of me. And I installed a gel battery. the old one was shot and I got a gel one from ebay cheaper than i could buy the acid filled ones at autozone.

not realy something i can take a picture of, but an update none the less. replaced the 79 mainjet with an 85 and removed the snorkel off of the airbox and removed the restrictions there. it has more power, is louder, and the hesitation is gone. next up, more paint and bodywork.
