Brent,
You need to do what I did, go on a diet. It is the cheapest tuning for the scoot. Really, you feel better too.
At my highest weight I didn't even want to get on the scales, I think I was pushing 350. I'm mow at 265, feel much more energetic and really it was not hard to drop that weight. Not that it fell off me it took a lot of time. I'm hoping to get down to 235 by years end.

I went on a diet and lost 25 lbs and counting... then I crashed and granny fell ill and all I do is sit around the house. It kinda pushes my nerves to the limit and eating right seems impossible. Not to mention I do all the cooking now and granny wants pancakes and eggs and bacon/sausage/scrapple every morning and stuff like that. If I gotta cook it for her, I'm gonna eat it. If it's just me around, I prefer not to spend my day in the kitchen so I don't eat a big breakfast everyday and stuff like that. Haven't really cared enough to exercise much either, other than mildly lifting weights. Most of the success of a diet is in your head from my experience, and my head is in the wrong place. I'm not trying to make excuses, just telling you how it is right now. I know it's only my fault that I'm a fat ass. lol
I agree though, it would be nice to be lighter. I could tell a difference even with the 25lbs I had lost (not anymore) to be at 275. 215 is the lightest I've ever been as an adult and I was not fat then. I'm a fairly big boy so I'd never be 100-pounder like the kid on the scoot. Could get closer though.

Everybody has a situation that is different.
I know that for many years I just thought, well it is my burden in life. I thought "skinny people" don't understand. After all they have never been over weight, they don't know. I didn't think that stopping and getting a single chocolate bar was really doing me harm, after all, I was getting a diet soda too.
I found out that if I stopped that, stopped getting second helpings at the table and not making excuses, I started loosing pounds. I went from stretching out my 44 inch waste pants to the point of almost not being able to put them on, to I couldn't keep them on. Then about a year later, my 42 inch pants were falling off. I went to get some new jeans and guess what, I got into some 38's with no trouble. This was all after I stopped going to the gym and working out.
I'm a firm believer that you can actually eat anything you want, just do it in the right portions. If you still want to eat more, hit the veggies, eat carrots and celery, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower.
So for breakfast eat a piece of bacon maybe two, have an egg, I would steer clear of pancakes and syrup most of the time but once or twice a week is probably OK again think portion control.
