ZNEN ZN50QT-hs

Greetings....

I've recently bought a ZNEN ZN50QT-hs 49cc scooter. As is when buying second hand I wanna give it a good going over, but can not find out any parts related to this model. There are ZN50QT-(A/F/E) parts going around on various sites on the web, but nothing on my model.

I have seen vague comments that they are the same engine, that the (A/F/E) bit at the end just refers to model specific details, but nothing absolutely concrete.

I'm new to scooters, and reason for it is cheap runaround as I can't afford the car anymore. So Who can help me?
If i find I need new parts/servicing parts, can I just get any of the ZN50QT- models as the motor is the same or not??

Welcome to the forum!

I suspect you probably have the very common 139QMB or 1P39QMB four-stroke engine. Check the thread linked below out and see if you can find your engine code. You could also post pictures of your engine from both sides and most likely we can ID it for you.

The ZN50QT is a gy6 engine, i believe it is a 139QMB style engine, we sell them at the shop i work at

Thanks for the reply's.

Before you all replied I got the bike apart, had to get new piston & rings. Since this bike has a chain drive for the valve timing, and i don't have that equipment for it, I brought it to a local shop to get it done from here. Since half the work is done it ends up being fairly cheap for basically an engine rebuild.

When I have it back, I will take pics and get the info requested here so you may be able to help others with the same moped.


@90gtvert, Nice one on the vids. Definitely a few things to consider when I get it back like protecting the electrical connectors, clear fuel line and fuel valve...
