Well the last couple days been having an issue where the scoot wants to bog/stall at WOT(Despite it running decent w/ a bigger MJ the day before) and idles really low despite the idle screw being turned in all the way. I was near the point of asking you guys for ideas then I pulled the vacuum hose on the petcock to find a decent amount of gas in it. Luckily I had just received a couple non-vacuum petcocks from treatland. So putting that in today and working on getting the carb tuned since i've been blessed w/ a few more days of good weather before winter sets in.

New airbox arrived for Peugeot V clic put it on then found left ignition on all night. Kick started tuned carb, body on, wait for battery to charge and away with it.

I seem to remember Peugeot cars when hit a certain age can have problematic electrics and the Peugeot speedfight I had the same not so long ago. Now today we had a nice day at Cei Bach beach then onto the Peugeot V clic to finish it, pics taken and a cheap bike for someone. Pushed it in the garage, shut door and thought to myself did I leave the key in it. Open door and no I had not but noticed drip drip drip of petroleum out the back of the airfilter box. Put container underneath went to town half hour later had a quick check and still slight drip shone a light about couldn't see leak so hopefully just the fuel needle. The vacuum pump sits on side of body so that may also maybe staying open. Flooded so won't start now. More damn work on it tomorrow. Once fixed and sold no more damn Peugeots. I blame that damn seagull. I can tell by the way it's looking at me!

I fired up the ZX50 to get the gas flowing in the carb, went on a short ride round the neighborhood... decided to try pulling up on the handlebars and had a small little wheelie not bad for stock... hehe

Milly, how's that v-click treating you? They're basically the taotao sold on US with Peugeot branding...

Milly, how's that v-click treating you? They're basically the taotao sold on US with Peugeot branding... Well I found muck on the needle valve and have ordered a new vacuum tap as well which arrives Thursday, once back together it's going for sale as long as works ok. Yes not paid much attention before but a lot of the Peugeot range appears to be Chinese with Peugeot branding on.

Been getting the two scooters ready for winter. Cleaned and ACF50, for the aerox. Trying some new corrosion block on the typhoon.

Today I changed the Speedo drive on Sybil, took for a road test all to no avail speedometer not working so tomorrow I shall take the top cover off and check. Glad I bought off bits over the years as I can change speedometer and cable if needs be. I also need to check out the front brake light switch and see if it even has one and wiring to it.

Been nice over here warmer than usual mid to high 50's and not so much rain winds a bit high at times but breaks in that to. Tomorrow its off with the top cover and check Speedo and put a front brake light switch in if missing hopefully wiring there.
