Took a much needed ride on the Blue ZX tonight. The air temp is a low 75 and the humidity is lower than usual. It felt great to be on two wheels.

Our temp today is so I'm told 90f which is rare this time of year in Wales oldgeek. Today went for a spin on the 50 and met an old friend not seen in many a blue moon while getting a bacon sarnie.

Took mine out for a spin tonight in the rain see how good the headlight was, not bad but got a spare 45/45w bulb I will replace the 35/35w with. What's the betting I won't find it tomorrow after seeing it for weeks floating around the car and then putting it safe the other day.

Took another great ride on the Blue Kymco this evening. The temp is about 70 F, slightly chilly at times. The Mustangs are here this week, I have seen some pretty nice cars. I saw one earlier this week with two huge turbos and no hood. I tried to race him on the blue Kymco but I dont think he wanted any of it. Police presence seems to be minimal this week, as has been the case all summer, so the cars are having a good time.

Replaced the right side litter case gasket in my buddy's gy6 started leaking oil out of nowhere. Also installed a 118mm variator with 12 g Dr pulley sliders. Went up one jet size from 125 to 127 he changed from a Amazon pod to a uni filter the uni def performs way better. So trying to eliminate my belt rubbing on my starter Bendix in my qmb ever since I put the naraku 89mm racing variator in the belt rubs when variator is maxed out. If anyone has solved a similar issue I'd love to know what you did. And yes my case where the bushing goes and the bushing is good

I'm thinking about maby oblonging the holes in the cover to see if I can shift cover up slightly to get a tad more clearance. Im not sure if that will cause the drive face to rub bottom of cover I haven't looked to see how much room is there idk it was just a thought or if it will cause the Bendix to not seat fully in the drive face teeth

Pulled it out of the garage, dusted it off, and started it up. Didn't go far. Didn't want to go back to get my forgotten phone. Nice to run gas thru the carb. No more clogged pilot jet
Waiting on that first cool fall evening ride up Reynolda Rd, a scenic ride thru Bueuna Vista expensive neighborhood.

Went for a little putt putt with the ruck. Finally got all the old gas through it, sounds much peppy-er. Decided I need to find a new home on the bike for the fuel filter so started tackling that problem. I bought a clamp to choke off the gas while I switch the lines. Decided to put the last mod on, but haven’t done it just yet. That rear bar over the frame splitter. Doesn’t really do anything but look cool. Matches the from bar which is what I liked about it. Also the stock frame bolts are ugly. I have some killer Allen heads to replace them that fit into the bar. It’ll look neat. Gotta figure out how to get those old frame bolts out. They are red loctited in pretty well. I know I’m supposed to hit the bolt with a torch and that’ll let me break it, but I’m concerned with all that heat near the tank and all that powder coat. I’m thinking I’ll take the tank off and fully disassemble it, swap the fuel filter, move it, and install the bar at the same time. So I’ll putt putt some more to burn some gas then put my operating gloves on. So shiny you can see my reflection!

Went for a ride after fixing my 12v issue. Had an oncoming car flash and hold his high beams on me. I’m aware my LED lights are bright but I also know my stock headlamps were like birthday cake candles so 🤷♂️

It's surprising that these old pipes keep turning up. Have not been made for so long now. Then again you used to see them on 80% of the two strokes round here. So must be loads kicking about in garages, and sheds.
