Today i replaced the cluster bulbs with blue ones, now it lights up the red numbers purple, looks really cool.

Started tearing down a motor that came today for a new build. Well it's for my scooter and my scooter sat quietly watching but I can feel it's a little anxious. Lol

I got to rescue a gorgeous young damsel in distress on a Taotao 50cc scooter with starting problems. -Not bad for an ugly old knight in rusty armor.
The electric start works now and her battery seems to be charging. The voltage did not get up to the float voltage of 13.8-14.2V while I worked on it. There is still something wrong with her kick starter. It jams and will not return to the horizontal position unless it is wiggled around with some force. It is a fairly new scoot with 2000 something on the odometer.
She makes a long 40 mile commute to work but at least she knows a way-station midway along her ride where she can get help now. I gave her an auxiliary fuel bottle to use also. Those stainless steel water bottles with a new O-ring work good for seeing if there is any murkiness from water in the fuel also. Dump the bottle in your tank and pump some fuel into it and examine it. If it is milky or anything go to another station.
