Also got the new stand for the other aerox after waiting three weeks for delivery. It's too short. That is why welders have jobs.

Also got the new stand for the other aerox after waiting three weeks for delivery. It's too short. That is why welders have jobs. Not so many independent old style welders about now. Even most garages out source welding jobs. There is an engendering company not far from me who say they do small welding jobs. I will go up there and see how much to weld two small squares of steel to the old stand. It is literally a ten minute job. If it's not stupid money I might get them to do it.

Usually setup, paperwork, cutting those two squares of steel, etc. make it more than a 10 minute job. Then there is the welder's time and overhead that ramp up the cost. Professional welding equipment is not cheap. Welding is a skill that takes knowledge and lots and lots of practice. Most people dabble with cheap Chinese equipment and booger welds for this kind of work.

Eastern Shore water only makes people and motorcycles stronger! I don't think so, it makes them dead and crumbling... -

Places like that will be gone so very soon, at the very least 'reconfigured', due to rising sea levels.

Sym Symply ready for sale. Put steering lock on and plastic bit broke making ignition all wobbly. Doh! Wife said try glue in tube builder left behind. It worked and glued a damp door sill back on my shed. Never used it before. I wonder what other scooter application it can be applied to 🤔 It's called Stick's Like Sh*t. Do they sell this Stateside?

Just replaced the belt on my scoot. How on Earth is it possible that 7 of the bolts on the side cover go right back in perfectly and the 8th is not even close to lining up? Ha.

That's why I always put every bolt in loose before tightening any up. But it's still crazy. Just when you think you're finishing up.
