Took the stock front wheel and Cut out the Drum hub part and made & welded in a Steel hub to mount the Brake Disc. Then Sandblasted & Powder coated both wheels White. Then mounted New BridgeStone 2.75-10" Hoop H01 Tires Cut the Stock Engine mount and gave it a 4" stretch. Did away with Stock rear shock and made a solid strut mount out of 1.0" Sq Tubing.

I bet that is a wild little ride but I'm not sure how well the pipe will work as a wheelie bar lol. Sharp and looks good. Congrats on the new toy

Looks great. The Trail Tech looks like it belongs there. 120cc in that little thing should be a blast.

That is nice!!! Great work on the front end man! Takes some time and skill to do that right.
I really need to do my homework on these Honda,s so i know the "good engine" when i see it. I might be wrong but to my understanding the earlier Elites had a slower engine with no real CVT. Pretty much the same engine as the old Spree,s had. Then later they put better "AF16,s", is this correct? Isnt the AF18 another one? I remember a guy mentioning that the two piece CVT cover engines are the good ones? Was he right? Sorry to pick your brain, i just havent had the pleasure of digging into a Honda yet, but i do have the chance at one..

The af16 is a detuned af18(dio) according to the spree forum produced in the states from '94 to '01 I believe. It seems it was detuned with the exhaust and carb if I remember. Google honda dio and a link to the spree forum comes up with all you need.

i agree, very nice work! the best part to me is the bike looks like it cam that way from the factory. Then you will have the guys who look at the 49cc RR badge and laugh, just before they see your tail light! I assume you build it for track only and neighborhood cruising? it has got to be a bumpy ride with solid swinger mount? does it handle crapy on turns since it has been stretched? I an considering stretchng one of my JoGS.

I'd be interested to know what the charge was for your engine work if you don't mind. I've been toying with the idea of building a monster (bb/stroker) Dio in the future. Mostly I'm interested in the rpm limits of that 52.6 stroker crank so I'll know how to set my durations and configure a pipe. A methanol setup for racing is most appealing. You're close to an alky motor running e85.

The Elite styling is timeless. I'm glad you retained it. Very sanitary build. Please give us some performance numbs soon.

$385 sounds reasonable enough. Thanks.
