i know i've got a minarelli engine on my aprilia rally 50 cause its stamped so, but i read alot of post and all about the 1e40qmb, 1pe40qmb, e40qmb, and 40qmb engines and i haven't been able to find any of those stamps on mine. the only stamp i've been able to find on mine is by the lower shock mount that reads 5MY-AP M3007678. does this # make any sense to any of you? thanks for your help.

Some arent marked with 40QMB, just a bunch of numbers that i dont understand. I have a few that are like that. The biggest things to know about your Minarelli are your bore, stroke, piston pin size, crank output shaft size. After that the rest just kinda falls into place with parts. Most all the cvt parts are interchangeable mina to mina. Belt sizes and other little things can be different but for the most part everything will interchange. What would be the best way to find out without total disassembly of the engine? Also I've been lookin at a sr50 ditech on c-list for the right price but it needs crank bearings, any ideas on what i'd be lookin at to change them out? I think I want the ditech but I don't want to bite off more then I can chew, especially since I'm still learnin about these scooters.
