I enjoy the way dirt bikes are nothing but torque. I saw a guy riding his dirt bike in the street today and was surprised. His didn't have lights or plates or anything, and he was just riding in the middle of the city. Gives me ideas. Lol.

I am no Crusty Demon but I do ride dirt bikes. Quads are fun if you are aware of their dangers

If you want a street legal dirt bike, they make enduro type, street and dirt. Have headlights, taillight/brake light and turn signals. My first motorcycle was that type and I had more fun on it. A 125cc or 250cc would be good (I had a 250cc and it SCREAMED).

Over 40 years ago a group of us went to a local motorcycle street race. Most of the racers had bikes with fairings but one guy rode a dirt bike with street tires and he came second. He wasnt popular with the other contestants but we got to talk to him. And he said the street is rough and he could have won but he was short on Horsepower.

I used to ride MX bikes up until my early 20's. Had two Suzuki RM125's, RM250 and a Yamaha YZ250. Last Off roader I had was a Guy Cooper X sport 125 pit bike about five years ago. Not many places around now to ride,

mannn i like them KLR650s, they are the king of dual sport in many ranks. bmw has some massive dual sports, but... 650 is plenty beefy. i had a klx250, new rings and piston and tuned, it was a dog. but them 650s will get down now, no joke man them things move. and the weights mostly down low too so theyre suprisingly lighter feeling than they actually weigh.

Ducati also has what they call a supermotard IIRC that looks cool/fun, but when the engines get so big I have to think you're losing part of the beauty/point of the class.
