Its going to depend on your scoot Rocket. You'll need to supply more information about your scooter for us to be able to help in any way.

Okay it's one of the generic engined chinese 4 stroke 50cc scooters, over here it is called a direct bikes 50 qt. exactly the same as your peace sports scoot i think it is also the same as 90gtverts.

As I understand it, you'll need quite a few parts from a similar model with disc brakes. Gearbox half, wheel and rotor, caliper, hose, and either a universal master cylinder or control assembly from a donor with rear disc. Plus I'd imagine brackets and hardware. Not sure if a the axle needs to be swapped. If you are lucky enough to find a cheap used scoot basically the same style but with disc brakes, that may be cheaper than all of the parts combined. They are not common here, but hopefully for you they are in the UK.

hello everyone sorry not to even say hello and just throwing a question at you all. My name is Ste and i live in a town called Warrington which is in Cheshire England. Warrington has a top flight rugby league team know as the Wolves. Warrington used to be renowned for having a lot of wire making factories hence the team being originally known as THE WIRES and us fans were known as THE BARMY ARMY. Anyway i recently purchased this scoot off a mate for £100 about $80. it is 18 months old with 1800kms on the clock, goes like a snail and is embarrassing to ride, but i want to change all that by putting as many upgrades and tuning parts as there are out there including a 100cc big bore kit as i have found that each time i want to go for a spin one of my kids wants to ride pillion which only makes performance worse, so what i'm after is the kit that has everything. I mean to upgrade whatever it takes from engine to variator to clutch and springs and carb to crank and bearings. SO can anybody give me an idea of where to start and what realistic expectations i can meet ??. Cheers Ste.

You'd prob be quite a bit happier with a big bore kit and getting the CVT and carb in tune along with it. A 47mm kit is usually able to be reliable and last. A 50mm big bore or above may make more power, but they just don't hold up for lots of miles on a stock crank for most. It seems like the people using 50mm+ kits that aren't complaining of crankshaft failures are de-tuning them with overly heavy rollers. To me if you aren't going to use the potential of it you might as well just run the smaller 47mm kit and tune it well. I guess the 50mm kits are easier to come by though and can be purchased cheaper from what I see on eBay. If you want to use a 50mm+ kit with all the goodies for max output, then you should upgrade the crank. Something like the Naraku HD or you can go with a stroker crank from Hoca or ScootersToGo or you may have other sources their overseas.
If you already know it has to be max everything, then plan a build with a new crank included. If you like the idea of going faster without necessarily buying every part in the catalog, consider trying a BBK and getting it in tune first. I've got Project TaoTao vids on YouTube (see my signature) that cover basic tuning.
