Scoot is making a ticking noise when I let off the throttle. Kind of a "ticka-ticka-ticka" Doesn't do it when throttle is open and not at idle either, only when letting off the throttle while riding. Any ideas what might be ticking?

Possibly unrelated but I'll keep it in the same topic. Does this look normal with that much space between the pipe and the exhaust? The bolts aren't loose at all and I'm not sure if it's been like that since the pipe was put on or not. I just noticed it today. Wasn't sure if it's normal, needs to be cranked up tighter, or lost a gasket.

That's a gasket you are looking at between the header and the cylinder. It just kinda crushes between them to seal. Looks OK to me.
Not sure what to tell you on the noise. Noises can be hard to diagnose from just brief descriptions. Heck, they can be hard to diagnose in person.

That looks fine to me. If anything i would loosen the left side(in the pic) and tighten the right to equal out the pressure of the seal. My Kymco makes a ticky rattly noise when i left of the throttle. On mine its ring wear causing the noise but she still runs strong so im not worried....Could be ALLOT of factors causing it. Ring wear, spark knock, reeds, vari-slides, worn vari, small leak, even starter clutches make some weird noises when dry and or broke... Like Brent said, hard to tell without hearing the noise. Hope ya get it though!
