Bummer, but at least you caught it before real damage was done. Were all the other bolts tight? When I trashed my Kymco gearbox, not only did I forget gear oil, I forgot to tighten the bolts.

Just wanted to say nice scoot. I like readin g your builds some are pretty sweet. On page 5 you and 2strokd were talking about the polini paint job and needing a part to warrant the use of a sticker. Well I've seen some kik ass blue grips with polini wrote on them in white lol. hey its a brand part so....U can use that sticker. Anyways awsum build n keep up the good work looking foward to seeing more from you. Haha Thanks gregg. I have seen those grips and I do like them! Scoot now has a few Polini parts- Polini CP 21mm carb, Polini Evo2 clutch, Polini Speed Bell, etc. I can use that sticker now!

Ya thank goodness! There's one bolt that stripped out long ago that now goes all the way through with a nut on the other end. I'm thinking I may gotten that one a lot tighter than the others and... crack. Maybe?

Have you made any headway on the MHR build? Crank or pipe choice?

No not really, it'll be a long-term project due to all the expensive goodies I'll need to go along with it. I'm thinking about getting a few of the more expensive parts that I could use now first, like an inner rotor iggy. I'm still kind of leaning toward the Roost R86 exhaust but that may change with late night eye bleeding research sessions ha.

Rads showed up a few days ago! A few cuts here, a few cuts there with the grinder and it looks they're going to fit no problem. One of the benefits of having a ginormous scoot. haha.

Wow, that thing has tons of room! I was just thinking to myself a little while ago that you guys in Florida have perfect weather right now and that Niz should be getting some stuff done and posted. And so it begins

Had a very nice Sunday today! Got a little work done on the scoot and watched the Lions squeak by with another win. Stripped her down... Tried my best to mark out air holes with some chalk... And here's how she ended up- well actually I added a few more holes after taking this pic... I started with a paddle bit and quickly realized that it wasn't a good idea with all these curves and switched to a stepped bit. There's two holes that are bigger than all the rest because of that but all in all I'm happy with it!

I love that look with all the holes. It's what I was going to do until I decided to put mine where I did. Good job
