Over 1000 posts. And, hey, more bs to come! The ol' Derbi has nearly 9000 mi. on it.... all but 800 put on her by me. She set up for over a year too - up on a banquet table patiently awaiting a new heartbeat so we could ride together again. That Top Performance kit has been a good one. This scoot can take it and I have gained a lot of respect for Derbis (that word looks funny doesn't it).
I even tried to drown her once a few years ago. Had to push her out of a creek swollen by a flash flood through over a foot of water. I just took her home took off a lot of body work and propped her upside down someway and allowed the water to exit followed by a liberal spraying of WD40. Put back together she fired right up following her internal wash.
Or how about coming home from a damp Memorial Day camping trip all loaded down and passing a line of dirt bikes on a slick gravel road. Me and Derbi. We know how to live.

No better tribute than to RIDE these scoots. Sounds like both you and the Derbi have done each other proud.
Thanks for all the "whit & wisdom" you provide round here.
Ride on! :scoot2:

I've had a lot of fun on this site and learned a lot too. There is potentially a great future here. The present is certainly going very well here and growth is strong. Brent's doing a fine job!
For people that really understand them scooters return a lot of satisfaction tinged with brief moments of grief.
Live, ride, learn, enjoy, pass it on.
