The little golden bracket clip with the teeth that goes over the rod right behind the CVT cover. The teeth are stripped on the bracket so I tried to weld it to the rod that makes the brakes open and close. Anyone know how to remove both the bracket and the rod. I have another scooter I can take good parts from

Got a buddy that says his scooter needs a "tune up" and a carb clean. Are these a lot different than working on the Chinese Scooters I'm used to?

Congrats on the new purchase. If you will be riding it hard (lots of WOT) consider an oil cooler. My GY6 ran hot (had to be WOT for roads around here) and the oil cooler made a nice difference in oil temps and cylinder head temps. should that be done for a 50cc also or just 150cc?

I would think that would melt when the cover heats up. Maybe not... guess you'll find out. the black and the silver paints are both high heat engine paint. Up to 500 degrees.

koso and DHL variators are for sure some cheap made stuff... i dont know about springs made by them
i bought a DHL vari and it lasted about a week... the stock vari is much better
