No I wish it did. I grounded the spark plug. It sounds weird when I try to start it though.

Yep- the battery is pretty much dead. No need to buy a new one- just charge it back up with a typical 12v automotive battery charger. Don't mean to harp on the subject but if we go step-by-step we can help you get scooting again! So you checked for spark like Brent showed in the video? Sounds like you did and that's a great start to troubleshooting. Until you systematically go through everything to find the problem there's really no need to keep killing your battery by trying to crank it over continuously- a quick kick or two with the kickstart will be enough to verify if the sparkplug is sparking. I would personally just try the simplest things first to find the 'no spark' issue- have you tried pulling in the other brake handle and check for spark- it really could be just that simple! Next, make sure your side kickstand isn't down since many of the late model scoots have a kill switch wired into the kickstand... after that, try removing the boot (unscrew) from your plug wire and either try a different one from maybe a known running scoot or find a way to connect the tip of the plug to the bare wire while grounding it to frame as you turn the engine over.... See a pattern here? Just trying very simple things one by one until you move on to replacing parts. I've seen scoots have no-spark for various simple dumb reasons so hopefully you'll luck out and find the problem before digging into everything! Good luck!

Im kinda wondering if there may be a loose/disconnected plug or wire connector somewhere , possibly knocked loose or not fully connected from earlier shop repairs? Its pretty much process of elimination from here on . Like Niz stated , gotta charge that battery , follow the sparkplug wire to the coil , verify the 2 wires are connected etc. Youll get it also curious if something in the handlebar area came unplugged when signal switch/flasher was replaced? Just tossing ideas out there.
