i have a jonway scooter that im taking all the plastic off.. i just need ideas for mounting the turn signals and some other things that were built into the plastic Coat the frame and any other metal parts to protect from rust, and seal all wiring connectors with grease or something. This type of chinese scoot comes as sunny type 1 or sunny type 2; yours is type 1. With the type 2 scoots all the switches are mounted directly to the handlebars in two separate mounts, i would just get those switches instead. I hope you don't run into compatibility problems when changing the speedo.

This is the naked bike I'm currently working on still a work in progress but I'm relatively new to the scooter scene and wanted to see what everyone thought about the current look Naked handle bar (so far) Mines the closest of the 2 (the other is my buddy who actually got me into scooters)

to mount the headlights and blinkers I used this piece of metal that comes off the license plate holder of a NINJA 300. In its original form it was bolted on with the top 2 bolts from the license plate and held 2 red reflectors in place.... i just had to bore out the holes and bolt it to the scooter on a tab that originally supported the front fairing. SUPER SIMPLE design. jut one bolt, lights, and blinkers. something like this:
